For my magazine assignment i will need to carry out a photo shoot to fill pages and extra depth to the magazine. To gather some inspiration i have used a pinterest account( http://www.pinterest.com/sophiekipper/vintage-magazine-inspiration/).
This gave me a basic layout of what i want to create.
Firstly i had to consider the things i will need this includes:
- Photography equipment : camera, tripod and maybe some lighting.
- A model : My model will be Eloise Braynt.
- Location: I will split between two locations one and outdoors forrest with a festival feel. The next an bus stop or main road this will give me the look go vintage fashion in the modern world.
- Clothes: A blank 50's dress with red petticoat. For the outside shoot i will use a 30's log flowing dress with small antique ankle boots.
After taking all of these things into consideration i will have to think the logic behind how the photo shoot can take place. I will have to create a release form for the model and maybe the location so that all photos are permitted to be used. I will also need backups for all weather so coats and umbrellas for when the photos are not being taken. This may include creating a base that we can return to for all outfit and make up changes and maybe food if the shoot takes all day. For this planning I created a simple checklist of all the considerations for the day of the shoot it looked like this:
This sheet firstly outlines basic details such as the location and date but it also goes into the detail of the props needed and all thoughts on the shoot down to the make up the model will be wearing. This overall helped me to keep track on the day of the shoot.
